Abstract

Background/Aims: Currently, prosthesis are notsocially acceptable for a variety ofreasons.Therefore,the satisfaction of acosmetic fingers is important for aesthetic satisfaction. So, in this study, acomparative survey of conventional cosmetic prosthesis andcosmetic prosthesisusing 3Dprintingtechnologywas conductedinthis study.Methods:The questionnaire was conducted with a total of 50 list including conventional cosmetic prosthesis andcosmetic prosthesis using3D printingandadditional 2lists. Result:When comparing the conventionalcosmetic prosthesisand cosmetic prosthesisusing 3Dprintingtechnology withtable 1and2, the cosmetic prosthesisusing3D printingtechnologyshowedmore satisfying than conventionalcosmetic prosthesis. Conclusion:We hope to improve the qualityof life of the upper extremityamputee by creatinga similar aesthetic note tothehuman bodyand more aesthetic prosthesis using 3D printing technology wouldbe needed in the future.
